Composition

এতে আছে ৪% ডব্লিউ/ভি ক্লোরহেক্সিডিন গ্লুকোনেট (যা ২০% ভি/ভি ক্লোরহেক্সিডিন গ্লুকোনেট সলিউশন বিপি এর সমমান)।

Pharmacology

Chlorhexidine is a very potent cationic chemoprophylactic agent that has a broad-spectrum of activity against gm+ve and gm-ve bacteria. It is both bacteriostatic and bactericidal depending on its concentration. The bactericidal effect, which is achieved at high concentrations, is due to the binding of the cationic to negatively charged bacterial cell walls and extramicrobial complexes. Bacteriostatic effect is achieved at low concentrations which causes an alteration of bacterial cell osmotic equilibrium and leakage of potassium and phosphorus.

অস্ত্রোপচারের পূর্বে হাত জীবাণুমুক্তকরনে: পানিতে হাতের কনুই পর্যন্ত ভিজিয়ে নিন। ৫ মি.লি. স্যানিস্ক্রাব নিয়ে ১ মিনিট ধরে হাতের কনুই পর্যন্ত স্ক্রাব করুন; আঙ্গুলের নখ পরিষ্কারের জন্য ব্রাশ বা স্ক্র্যাপার ব্যবহার করুন। পরিষ্কার পানিতে হাত ধুয়ে ফেলুন। একই পদ্ধতিতে ২ মিনিট ধরে পুনরায় স্যানিস্ক্রাব ব্যবহার করুন।

ওয়ার্ডে হাত জীবানুমুক্তকরনে: পানিতে হাত ভিজিয়ে নিন। ৫ মি.লি. স্যানিস্ক্রাব নিয়ে ২ মিনিট ধরে হাত ও নখ স্ক্রাব করুন। পরিষ্কার পানি দিয়ে হাত ধুয়ে ফেলুন এবং শুকিয়ে নিন।

অপারেশনের পূর্বে জীবাণু প্রতিরোধে: অপারেশনের দিন এবং তার পূর্বের দিন স্যানিস্ক্রাব গোসলের সময় ব্যবহার করুন। ২৫ মি.লি. স্যানিস্ক্রাব পানিতে মিশান। প্রথমে মিশ্রিত দ্রবণ দিয়ে তারপর পরিষ্কার পানি দিয়ে সারা শরীর ধুয়ে ফেলুন। প্রক্রিয়াটির পুনরাবৃত্তি করুন। একটি পরিষ্কার তোয়ালে দিয়ে সারা শরীর মুছে ফেলুন।

অপারেশনের পর জীবাণু প্রতিরোধে: গোসলের সময় অপারেশন সাইট ব্যতীত সারা শরীর উপরোক্ত পদ্ধতিতে ধুয়ে ফেলুন। এটা সাধারণত অপারেশনের ৩য় দিন করা হয়।

শিশুদের নাগালের বাইরে রাখুন। চোখ, মস্তিষ্ক, মেনিঞ্জেস ও মধ্যকর্ণ হতে দূরে রাখুন । চোখের সংপর্শে এলে তাৎক্ষনিকভাবে পর্যাপ্ত পানি দিয়ে চোখ ধুয়ে ফেলুন । আলো থেকে দূরে, ঘরে স্বাভাবিক তাপমাত্রায় রাখুন। ক্লোরহেক্সিডিন সাবান ও অন্যান্য অ্যানায়নিক এর সাথে ইনকমপিটেবল । কেবলমাত্র দেহের বহিরাংশে ব্যাবহারের জন্য ।
